About Caputo Cheese
René and Pasquale Caputo began Caputo Cheese, owner of
Caputo Cheese Market, in 1978 as a small retail cheese shop.
The husband and wife team quickly became well-known for
their fine quality products and excellent service.
They soon began offering processed and blended cheeses to food
distributors and manufacturers, including parmesan, romano and
mozzarella. The product line gradually expanded to include other
high-quality cheeses, as well as oils, vinegars, spices and pastas.
Caputo Cheese encompasses numerous divisions including:
Caputo Cheese Boston, Caputo Cheese Milwaukee,
Caputo Food Service, Wisconsin Cheese, as well as two
Caputo Cheese Markets in Melrose Park, IL and Lake Forest, IL
The family-owned company, with more than 100 employees,
is now operated by their son, Natale Caputo. The thriving
company has the same commitment to quality and service
that René and Pasquale worked for since the beginning.
From their classic Caputo grated cheeses to their award-winning fresh
